The 2013 Community Partnerships Reception hosted by University of Chicago President Robert J. Zimmer drew more than 240 individuals to the Quadrangle Club on October 24. The event recognizes the many individuals and organizations that work with the University to advance common goals. Pres. Zimmer thanked invited guests for their contributions over the past year toward strengthening K-12 education, building vibrant communities, and enabling research projects that have a direct relationship to improving life on the South Side of Chicago.
