Twenty-five years ago when I came to the University of Chicago, I was simply looking to change jobs at that time and stay in academia. Since that time, besides just securing a job with the University, I’ve secured so much more. I’ve met wonderful lifelong friends… became acquainted with various faculty members and staff. These are memories that will last a lifetime. –Deborah Mason

My inspiration is and has always been the students. I have seen students grow up and on to college, and many of them return to Lab and remember me. This is the gift of my work, to be part of these children's lives. –Grace Morgan

One of the many things, besides the good company, that has kept me going all these twenty-five years—thirty-eight total at Chicago—has been my memory of being a child of five or six, driving down the Midway on the way to the beach in the back seat of my parents' '49 Ford, and seeing what seemed to be a fantastic world of towers and gargoyles, something out of one of my books of fairy tales. I asked my father what I was seeing, and he said that it was the University of Chicago, the best university that exists—I didn't doubt him, and I have never found a reason since to doubt him. –Theodore A. O'Neill

Devotion, loyalty, and hard work. –Silvio Stepancic

It has been my pleasure to have served with a staff of talented and dedicated individuals who have worked tirelessly continuing to improve the services we provide for College students.
